LAKELANDS OLIVES at BIOFACH ORGANIC EXPO TOKYO, JAPAN

 

Lakelands Olives exhibited at BioFach Japan Trade Show held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from October 10 to October 12 2007.

BioFach was run along side the Natural Products Trade Show. 

This was the first public presentation of Lakelands Olives products in Japan.

The reaction to the Lakelands Olives JAS certified biodynamic organic EVOO from both trade related people and consumers was exceptionally positive with all commenting on the great taste and quality. People found the pungent taste sensation very intriguing and learned that this is a positive characteristic of good quality olive oil and that the Lakelands Olives oils were also balanced with fresh and fruity flavours. Learning that this pungency was caused by the high Polyphenol rating of our oils, which provide the best natural antioxidants, they were very interested to see these oils in their preferred retail outlets

There were four oils on display for tasting, Special Reserve and three flavoured oils Ginger Crush, Basil Crush and Mandarin Crush. The reaction to all was very positive and the Mandarin Crush seemed to be a popular pick.

Visitors to the booth also commented favourably about the gift-box packaging, saying that it is attractive and of high quality. 

Following this exhibition, Lakelands Olives JAS certified biodynamic organic EVOO has been successfully launched in leading retail outlets, such as famous Kinokuniya.
